BASES and Human Kinetics provide BASES members with relevant and topical CPD opportunities through an exciting programme of online webinars, bringing you the latest in sport and exercise science content and addressing a variety of topics relating to sport, exercise, fitness, health, nutrition and more.
These live web-based presentations are conducted by leading minds in their respective areas of expertise and have been quality assured by BASES CPD Committee.
BASES members earn 2 CPD credits by registering for and watching a webinar.
We welcome any ideas for new webinars and offers to present them.
Take a look at the BASES Webinars Presenter Guidelines and use the Webinar Proposal Form to submit your idea(s) to firstname.lastname@example.org. A member of the BASES CPD Committee will contact you to discuss your proposal and, if approved, Human Kinetics will guide you through the presentation process.
Webinar presenters earn 5 BASES CPD credits per webinar.
Human Kinetics host the webinars. The presentation lasts for about an hour, usually, of which the actual presentation lasts around 45-50 minutes and is followed by a Question and Answer session for the remaining 10-15 minutes.
When you sign up for the webinar you will be able to submit any questions on the sign-up page. The host will then put forward as many questions as possible to the presenter on the day. The presenter shares their screen with the delegates; on their screen you will see a PowerPoint presentation and he/she will talk you through the slides.
If you think of a question mid-presentation you can also ask these as the webinar has a function to ask questions via the question box and these will be sent directly to the host.
Everyone who signs up for a webinar will be sent a link to the recording usually about 24 hours after the presentation has finished.
For those of you who have attended our live webinars in the past, you can watch them again at humankinetics.com/webinars.
