I have spent the last 10 years working as a sport psychologist within elite sport. To date, my applied practice has involved working with athletes and coaches from a range of sports including swimming, skeleton, and netball. However, my passion for professional football has meant that I’ve chosen to specialise working within this sport. Most recently I worked as the Performance Psychology Lead for England Development Teams and my long term ambition is to change the way that psychology is viewed within professional football.

Supervision approach

I use monthly individual and group sessions to support supervisees in their development as applied sport psychologists. I believe supervision plays an important role in providing a safe and non-judgemental space where supervisees can ask what they are might feel are 'silly' or 'embarrassing' questions, whilst still being challenged to help them develop and grow.
