Specialism (capability)

  • Exercise
  • Sport
  • Sport and Exercise

In my applied practice experiences to date, I've had the opportunity to work across a wide range of sports. These experiences range from recreational athletes, through to professional and international athletes. My sporting experience spans both individual and teams sports and includes working with athletes from football, rugby league, boxing, ice-hockey, track cycling, archery and golf amongst others. I've been able to work within a 1-to-1 private consultancy capacity, as well as being integrated into full-time within professional organisations. Therefore I'm able to provide a first-hand insight and perspective on a range of challenges, barriers and considerations associated with working as an applied practitioner in sport and exercise psychology.

Currently available to supervise

Supervision approach

During supervision, SEPAR candidates will experience both individual and group session support. Individual sessions will focus on key areas of development and these discussions will enable progression of your individual practice across a variety of key areas (Inc. philosophy of practice, ethics, delivery of practice). The focus of these conversations will be directed by you, the candidate, as you navigate your early career in sport and exercise psychology. The purpose of group sessions is to expose you to peers at a similar stage of development and create discussions on key topics, experiences and considerations for applied practice. All students under my supervision are able to contact me when necessary regarding any particular areas of practice, clarity or support.
