About
Undergraduate single honours routes and a wide variety of joint honours courses are offered, in addition to a foundation degree and MSc. The existing Sport Science programme is highly successful and has received explicit and positive feedback from subject review, external examiners and students. It has recently been endorsed by BASES. The degree classification profiles show that the majority of students gained first or second class honours degrees. The undergraduate programmes have very good employment records and also a number of students progress into further vocational qualifications and postgraduate study. External examiners have clearly expressed how the programme continues to link theory to sporting performance and also develop transferable skills relevant both vocationally and for post-graduate study. New for September 2007 are Coaching Science and a unique undergraduate degree in Strength and Conditioning Science.
