About

Teesside University is founded on a rich heritage, which has influenced its development as a dynamic, energetic and innovative institution. We've invested >£275m in our campus at the heart of Middlesbrough and have a long-established record of delivering high quality learning and teaching, research, and enterprise activity in health, sport and the sciences. Furthermore, we are a proud member of the University Alliance – a group of institutions leading the way in technical and professional education, training, enterprise, innovation, and research and development.

Our BSc Sport and Exercise Science explores the science of sports performance and public health. We place an emphasis on developing future facing graduates who are ready for employment. Students use cutting-edge facilities and have access to a wide range of work experience opportunities, helping build important professional networks. Our staff are experienced in supporting athletes and producing internationally-recognised research and advising government’s guidelines for physical activity.
