Special roundtable session at BASES Conference 2019 confirmed

A special new session has been added to this year's BASES Conference 2019 programme, which will present and discuss summary findings from the Sport and Exercise Science Education: Impact on the UK Economy report published earlier this year.

The session - Promoting the breadth and impact of sport and exercise sciences research - will explore the scope and breadth of sport and exercise science and how education programmes in the subject area can be established and evidenced within institutions. The session will be Chaired by Prof John Saxton FBASES, and be hosted by the following panel members: Prof Mike Tipton, University of Portsmouth, Dr Chris Gaffney, Lancaster University, Duncan Brown, Emsi and Prof Joan Taylor, De Montford University.

The roundtable session will be taking place prior to the opening keynote, at 9:00am on Tuesday 19 November - so arrive early to avoid missing this insightful and informative roundtable.
