Promoting the work of the BASES’ Public and External Affairs Advisory Panel

Following open recruitment in spring 2021, the Association’s new Public and External Affairs Advisory Panel (PEA-AP) was established. Its role is ‘to get BASES out there’ to ensure that Politicians, Policy Makers, and Institutions know who we are and what we can offer. The Panel includes Dr Andy Smith MBE FBASES (Chair), Prof David Broom FBASES, Dr Rita de Oliveira, Prof John Dickinson FBASES, Dr Mark Faghy, Prof Charlie Foster OBE, Dr Matthew Green, Dr Neil Maxwell FBASES, Dr Mark Ross and Dr Lauren Struszczak

A new PEA-AP webpage has been created, which introduces the Panel and provides details of the initial work of the PEA-AP and future plans. The page also includes a resource section which notes those Associations whom we have agreements in place and those whom we seek to influence. Over time, details of future consultation opportunities will be added to the page.
