BASES Supporting National Biomechanics Day
11th February 2019
BASES are proud to be sponsors of the 4th Annual National Biomechanics Day (NBD) - a worldwide celebration of all things Biomechanics.
From 2016 - 2018 NBD events have been hugely successful with over 20,000 students and 800 teachers around the world participating in fun and fabulous Biomechanics activities.
BASES is raising awareness of NBD by hosting BASES BIG2019 on the same day at The University of Huddersfield. We will be running a competition at BASES BIG 2019 to revel in the Biomechanics of it all.
The competition is open to BASES members who we are asking to provide evidence of the most innovative application of Biomechanics to real life. This could be through applied practice, teaching or research. We will require entrants to provide evidence of the above (photos/video/poster/articles etc) and email them to BIGintheHUD@hud.ac.uk by Monday 1 April.
The prize will be a year’s free BASES membership the winner will be announced at BASES BIG19.
