BASES Journal Club

11th February 2021

The BASES Journal Club is a new online Journal club, which has expanded from the previous BASES Division of Psychology Journal Club, and is where BASES members can discuss recent literature relating to Sport and Exercise disciplines collectively.

Instructions for Interested Individuals:

1) Sign into BASES members area.

2) Follow booking portal relating to BASES Journal Club via the 'Division Events' page.

3) Read details - Direction towards Slack to ask questions, find article links (found in the #journal-club channel), and post about discussion points.

4) Complete.

The first event of the BASES Journal Club will take place on 24th of February 2021 at 15:00-16:00 GMT.

Registration closes at 20:00 on Monday 22nd February 2021.

The first session will discuss the article 'Generalisability in Qualitative Research: Misunderstandings, opportunities and recommendations for the sport and exercise sciences', which can be found here, and Brett Smith will be joining the end of the Journal Club.
