BASES Chair

Prof Richard Tong FBASES will chair today’s Board meeting, after which, having concluded his tenure, he will hand the reigns to Chair-Elect, Prof Zoe Knowles FBASES. Zoe’s first job on becoming our new Chair will be to lead the Association’s Annual General Meeting, taking place at 4:30 pm this afternoon. 

“I am incredibly proud of what the Board and the Association have achieved these last three years,” said Richard, “including, amongst many others, seeing a 16% increase in membership, having SEPAR endorsed by the Health and Care Professions Council and launching the 2021-2025 strategy.” 

 Zoe said, “On behalf of the Board, I want to thank Richard for his hard work and efforts during his tenure as Chair, and I look forward to continuing to work with the Board to drive forward the great work of the Association and its members.”
