BASES 2021 Student Annual Conference

24th February 2020

Following open application since last November, the BASES Board recently considered all submissions to host the BASES 2021 Student Annual Conference against the criteria, which included the programme, location, cost and timing. The standard of applications received this year was once again very high. The Board are delighted to announce the University of Huddersfield as the successful bid.

Commenting on the confirmation, Dr Michael Fish, Senior Lecturer in Sport, Exercise and Nutrition Sciences, said:

“The University of Huddersfield is very excited to have been selected to host the BASES Student Conference 2021. Here in the School of Human and Health Sciences we pride ourselves on a high level of excellence in teaching and research and we will strive to bring that to the conference. The theme of the conference will be 'Supporting the Next Generation of Sport and Exercise Scientists' and we will be bringing together speakers from across the country that will hopefully inspire the students to go on and achieve all their full potential. We look forward to seeing you 'in the Hud'.”

The proposed dates are 14 to 15 April 2021.
