We are currently seeking a full time Sports Biomechanics Technician to join the Sport and Exercise
Biomechanics, Performance Analysis, Strength and Conditioning, and Sports Therapy team.

You will support the running of the laboratories in the Institute of Sport, Nursing and Allied Health with
particular focus on Biomechanics as well as Sports Performance Analysis, Strength and Conditioning and
Sports Therapy. The post holder will maintain laboratory facilities and equipment, and demonstrate use of
equipment to staff and students. The post holder will be required to carry out duties across all degree
schemes and work in multiple laboratories.

The successful candidate will hold a degree or equivalent in Sports Science of a related area and
demonstrable knowledge of Biomechanical equipment, such as EMG/motion capture and force analysis.
You will have experience of working in a laboratory or academic environment and will have an exercise,
environmental or human physiology and /or a life science background. A high level of organisational and
communication skills are essential for the role.
