Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated graduate exercise physiologist to join a human sciences research team investigating the acute and chronic physiological responses to military training. 

The post holders will be required to assist with the co-ordination of applied military physiology research projects in the areas of nutrition, musculoskeletal injury, and sleep and well-being. Responsibilities include providing support to field studies, performing data analysis, contributing to publications and undertaking other administrative duties as necessary to support the research team. The post holders may also be required to assist in the supervision of undergraduate university students during field research. Flexible working, travel and some overnight stays will be required as necessary to support the research. 

The successful candidate will have a BSc and MSc in Sport and Exercise Science or similar (Sports Nutrition or Exercise Physiology) and be competent in undertaking human physiological research. A full UK driving licence is required.
