Full description
The institute awards a full-time PhD scholarship (1.200 /month) for up to three years. Interested PhD candidates can apply for the following topic "Head Injuries in Football". The project will be conducted in collaboration with the University Paderborn and supervised by Prof. Tim Meyer & Prof. Claus Reinsberger. Thus, the successful candidate has to be willing to conduct parts of the project at the partner institution in Paderborn. The Institute of Sport and preventive medicine is a leading institute in the area of football research, focussing on training monitoring, recovery, injuries, match analysis, and female football. Additionally it is a licensed FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence, with established collaborations to Universities around the world.
