At the sportscotland institute of sport we provide high performance expertise to sport and athletes in Scotland to enable them to succeed on the world stage. We strive to create a high performance learning environment where innovation can thrive.

As a Performance Physiologist (Level 1) practitioner working for the sportscotland institute of sport, you will contribute to the national delivery of Physiology Services throughout the sportscotland institute network. In addition, you will be responsible for Performance Physiology support and delivery to identified and prioritised sports (up to 3) and athletes at the institute level. This role will have a larger allocation of support to Cycling focusing on both pathway and performance athletes.

You will be experienced in providing performance physiology support within a high-performance athlete environment, as well as a verifiable record of working within an interdisciplinary team. In addition, you will also be able to demonstrate your understanding of other applied disciplines within sports science, have a flexible approach to work, and a positive attitude to support a team of high-performance experts.
