Sport Wales is the national organisation responsible for developing and promoting sport and physical activity in Wales. We are the main adviser on sporting matters to the Welsh Government and are responsible for distributing National Lottery funds. What you’ll do: 

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced individual to deliver Performance Lifestyle support to identified athletes, coaches and sport system partners to enable and deliver against Sport Wales’ new vision and strategic priorities through working as part of an inter-disciplinary team whilst also complimenting the objectives of each sport. 

As a Performance Lifestyle Practitioner within the Institute you will contribute to developing, implementing and monitoring innovative and practical Performance Lifestyle services tailored to the needs of identified athletes and sports. 

What you’ll need: 

We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of two years’ experience supporting athletes and coaches within high performance environments, preferably degree level educated. Additionally, those with coaching and/or mentoring qualifications are encouraged to apply. Importantly, please see the job description for a full list of essential and desirable requirements of candidates. 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable, although not essential.
