Description
The School of Sport and Exercise Sciences is seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual with expertise in a STEM related area. We invite applicants with expertise in any area of sport and exercise science related to technology, exercise and medicine (STEM) that complement the existing expertise in Swansea Sport and Exercise Sciences to apply. We are interested scientists who have experience in mechanistic and basic science research and can work in teams to apply their work to real world settings. Applicants with combined expertise in sport and exercise science or with clinical, engineering or industrial expertise are also welcome to apply.
Applicants must have:
- A PhD in a relevant subject area or a degree and relevant professional experience or qualification. Candidates holding Engineering undergraduate qualifications are particularly sought
- A record of relevant research outputs and dissemination in quality publications or other media
- Appointments will be made at Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level, according to the experience of the candidate.
