The School of Sport and Exercise Sciences is seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual with expertise in physical sciences and its application to sport, exercise, physical activity and health. We invite applicants with expertise in any area of data analytics that complements the existing expertise in Swansea Sport and Exercise Sciences to apply.

We are interested especially in the characterisation of human movement and its patterns using approaches that link field and laboratory settings in areas such as injury, fundamental movement skills, predictive behaviours and human and computer and technology interactions. Applicants with combined expertise in computational and experimental/clinical or with engineering or industrial expertise are also welcome to apply.

Applicants must have:
•A PhD in a relevant subject area or a degree and relevant professional experience or qualification. Candidates holding Engineering undergraduate qualifications are particularly sought
•A record of relevant research outputs and dissemination in quality publications or other media
•Appointments will be made at Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level, according to the experience of the candidate
