developing programme of educational courses, research and enterprise activities working closely with our
prestigious network of partners nationally and internationally. The University College is committed to

About the role:
Reporting to the Head of School, the successful candidate will contribute to the delivery and assessment
of sport and exercise rehabilitation knowledge and skills. Key to this role will be the ability to work with
students to develop the skills needed for clinical decision making in future practice including how to find
and interpret research to apply to the scenario at hand. The post holder will have a comprehensive
understanding of the principles of sport and exercise rehabilitation, and the approaches and interventions
required to be an effective practitioner. Their previous qualifications in sport and exercise rehabilitation
will be invaluable in helping students critically appraise information and arrive at sound clinical decisions.
The post holder will undertake research in support of the School’s and institution’s research strategies
and supervise students in the completion of their own research projects.

Utilising dedicated clinical teaching spaces, onsite clinical facilities and cutting-edge technology we aim
to deliver courses which provide work ready graduates who excel in their chosen field.

About the person:
We seek enthusiastic and highly motivated academics with relevant qualifications as either a BASRaT
registered sport and exercise rehabilitator or in the field of sport and exercise rehabilitation with an ability
to develop students’ clinical reasoning skills. The successful candidates will have relevant experience
aligned to the post they are applying for, an ability to foster student learning and development, excellent
interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and a vision for the development of healthcare
education within the University College.

The successful candidates must maintain their own development as an educator and are expected to
contribute to the enhancement of pre-registration, post-registration and CPD courses within the School’s
portfolio.
