We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, collaborative, high performing member of staff to contribute to our programmes in SHAPE (Sport, Health and Physical Education). Leeds Trinity University is a modern university with an emerging research culture. The University is well resourced and has a significant reputation for high-quality teaching and student experience.
In order to support students from a range of undergraduate sport, exercise and health programmes, this role will focus on teaching and assessing a range of fitness and exercise physiology modules. In particular, we are seeking someone with relevant REPS accreditation (Exercise Referral Qualification at Level 3 - Register of Exercise Professional/CIMPSA endorsed) to complement their academic credentials who can support students in theory-based, practical and applied areas of the curriculum, as well as providing pastoral and dissertation support.
Applicants should have a good honours degree in an area relevant to Exercise Science or Exercise Physiology and a Higher degree in a relevant area.
This is a fixed term post for the purpose of covering long term staff absence.
Hours of work will be 21 per week, to be agreed with the line manager.
