Exercise Therapist 

Marine Court, Littlehampton 

Full time – 37.5 hours per week (3 week rota working Monday to Friday)                                                                                                                                        - £27,030 per annum plus benefits                                                                                                                                                                                                          - Generous non-contributory pension scheme                                                                                                                                                                                      - 33 days’ annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays) 

The Fire Fighters Charity offers specialist, lifelong support for members of the UK fire services community, empowering individuals to achieve mental, physical and social wellbeing throughout their lives. 

The Charity is now entering a new and exciting phase of service development and, in line with our 2020 – 2025 strategic plan, we are developing our residential programmes and digital services as well as exploring new ways in which we can support our beneficiaries in the community. 

Over the coming months we will be developing our Covid recovery pathway as well as testing new residential support pathways and outpatient provision, blending these with our digital solutions to meet the physical, psychological and social health needs of the Fire Services Community. 

Joining the multi-profession rehabilitation team at our residential centre Marine Court, you will work alongside your colleagues utilising your skills and knowledge base to provide a tailored and bespoke input for each individual using our services. 

You will have access to state-of-the-art gym and rehabilitation equipment as well as innovative and cutting-edge digital technology to support the delivery of rehabilitation programmes and educational sessions through one to one and group work both remotely and face to face. 

To be successful, you will: 

- Be educated to degree level in a Sports or Exercise related discipline with elements of at least two of the following: exercise physiology, exercise psychology, exercise for special populations, health promotion, and principles of training                                                                                                        -  Have experience of delivering group sessions                                                                                                                                                                                    - Have experience of working with long term conditions

You will be based at Marine Court, our residential rehabilitation centre on the West Sussex coast, which has a wealth of leisure facilities available. Situated in the seaside town of Littlehampton, you are just a 5 minute walk from the beach, harbour and River Arun, and a short drive to the South Downs National Park. 

An Enhanced DBS check will be required prior to commencing your role.
