BASES Professional Members are invited to apply
to our International Travel Grants Scheme for up to a total of £500
in a year to attend and present an oral communication at an international
sport and exercise science-related scientific conference.
This initiative supports the following objectives
of BASES - the promotion of research in sport and exercise sciences, the
encouragement of evidence-based practice in sport and exercise sciences
and the distribution of knowledge in sport and exercise sciences.
This initiative uses surplus income generated from
the BASES Annual Conferences.

Please note that BASES is unable to offer grants
once a conference has taken place or for conferences in the UK.
Eligibility:
The applicant is a Professional Member of BASES
for the past two years.
The applicant is the presenting author.
Applications are reviewed by the Accreditation Committee based on the
following criteria:
The calibre of the international sport and
exercise science-related scientific conference.
The quality of the abstract (scientific merit, methodological rigour,
etc.).
The capability of the applicant to promote BASES.
