Have you got what it takes to make The Sport and Exercise Scientist a valuable resource that contributes to the development of sport and exercise sciences and associated professions? A position on the Board with responsibility for Sport and Performance exists. The successful applicant will normally be highly skilled in working in Sport and Performance and possess detailed knowledge of Sport and Performance issues.

If you are enterprising, energetic, highly organised, detail-oriented, highly motivated and up-to-date with current developments, then a position on the Editorial Advisory Board may be for you. The Sport and Exercise Scientist is a resource for all those with an interest in sport and exercise sciences, bringing members up-to-date with the latest developments within the sport and exercise science community and BASES. Additionally, it reflects the strong commitment of BASES to the continuing professional development within the sport and exercise science profession.

The existing publication has pages dedicated to the areas of Physical Activity for Health, Sport Science, Education, Research and Scientific Support. Other popular features include Interviews, News, News in Brief, Letters to the Editor, Book Reviews and Ask the Practitioner.

An opportunity exists for an individual with an excellent knowledge of issues within sport and exercise sciences in general, and BASES and his or her area of representation (Sport and Performance) in particular, to be appointed on to the Editorial Advisory Board for The Sport and Exercise Scientist. The person appointed will take over responsibility for identifying relevant topic areas and appropriate authors, and reviewing the content of the publication.
