The consultation on the redrafting of BASES Fellowship and Honorary Fellowship has now ended and the Board has made final decisions on this matter.

It was agreed by the Board to accept the following three proposals:

• Fellowship to be for BASES Members and Honorary Fellowship for Non-Members
• Fellowship and Honorary Fellowship Applications to be reviewed by the Board
• Fellowship applications to be based on an objective and transparent application criteria based on credit units.

It was agreed to not accept the following proposal:

• Existing BASES Honorary Fellows to pay membership fees. Instead existing BASES Honorary Fellows will be invited to donate their membership fees towards a fund to support awards including the BASES Honorary Fellows Undergraduate Dissertation of the Year Award.
