BASES Podcast

Objective
The objective of the BASES podcast is to communicate with both members and non-members on matters related to the profession of sport and exercise science using a modern and rapid means of communication. The monthly podcast provides a time and financially efficient means of distributing information to members wherever they may live around the world.

What is the podcast like?
The BASES podcast is hosted by Dr Grant Abt from The University of Hull and runs for around 45 minutes per episode. The podcast will have a range of content including:

" Latest news
" Interviews (interview with a scientist, sports-person etc)
" Keynote presentations (from conferences)
" Debates
" Member profiles (interviews with members about their job)
" Vox-pop interviews with the general public (e.g. physical activity guidelines)

How do you get the podcast?
You can get the podcast in a number of ways:

1. Subscribe to the podcast through the iTunes Store (preferred method) - If you have iTunes already installed on your computer, click the link below to automatically launch iTunes and go directly to our page on the iTunes Store (you need to be connected to the internet to do this). From there just hit the 'subscribe' button (don't worry, the podcast is free). Once subscribed, iTunes will automatically download the latest episode to your computer when available. The advantage (for the profession) of subscribing in this way is that by going through the iTunes Store, each subscription adds to the podcast ranking, resulting in higher visibility:
