In a competitive vote, Dr Chris Harwood was successful in being elected onto the managing council for FEPSAC (The European Federation of Sport Psychology and Physical Activity) at the Association’s recent congress in Halkidiki, Greece. His election represents a collaborative effort between BASES and the Division of Sport and Exercise Psychology in the British Psychological Society in jointly supporting and nominating a member of both organisations to serve as a British council member within the European organisation. Chris will be involved in a two way information flow on matters related to sport and exercise psychology in Europe and will lead on certain managing council projects directed by Prof Paul Wylleman, the new FEPSAC president.
