I would like to invite you to attend a meeting for the BASES Paediatric Exercise Science SIG on Wednesday 24th October, 2007. The meeting will be held at the University of East London between 12-4pm. The primary reason for the meeting relates to research that aims to evaluate the 'Long-Term Athlete Development' (LTAD) model. Although the concepts of the model are well-formed, the lack of empirical data to support the claims means that the prospect of such research is of significant interest.
