Genetic Tests to choose the British Olympic team? Join the launch of the BASES Position Stand on 'Genetic Research and Testing in Sport and Exercise Science' at Bath

The BASES position stand will be launched from 15.45-17.45 h on Wednesday the 12th of September in the University Hall, Bath. The position stand will be introduced via three lectures followed by
discussions:
1) Henning Wackerhage: Introduction to the BASES Position Stand on 'Genetic Research and Testing in Sport and Exercise Science'
2) Alun Williams: Genetic Research in Sport and Exercise Science: What we know
3) Andy Miah: Genetic Research and Testing in Sport and Exercise
Science: Ethical issues

The aim of the session is to introduce the position stand, genetic research and testing and to stimulate a discussion concerning ethical and other issues that are covered by the position stand. Join us on Wednesday and click here to read the executive summary or the whole position stand.
