BASES MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL
Pay the Easy Way by Direct Debit…

For members joining before 1 November 2005 annual membership fees will be due before 1 April 2006. BASES hopes that members will choose to renew their membership via Direct Debit - forms are available on p.30 of The Sport and Exercise Scientist and on the website at www.bases.org.uk/newsite/mbrjoin.asp

Direct Debit is the simplest way for BASES to collect membership fees and it provides so many advantages to members:

  • Peace of mind
Peace of mind knowing bills are being paid automatically and payment dates will not be missed.
  • It's cheaper
It eliminates the expense and hassle of mailing cheques.
  • It's guaranteed
The reassurance of knowing that every Direct Debit is protected by three main safeguards: an immediate money back guarantee from the bank or building society if an error is made, advance notice from the organisation if the date or the amount of the Direct Debit changes and ultimately, the right to cancel.
  • It spreads the costs
Paying monthly is an option so you can spread the load across the year.

Members can also pay via:

Cheque (made payable to BASES) – please send to the BASES Office in Leeds.
Credit card – please call 0113 283 6162/63.

Please note that for members who let their membership lapse beyond the year a £10 re-joining fee is applicable in addition to the normal fees.

Membership categories and fees are outlined below.

  • Professional Member (£100)
  • Overseas Member (£50)
  • Affiliate Member (£50)
  • Student Member (£30).
