Making a Career of Sport and Exercise Science…

Heriot-Watt University is hosting the 2006 BASES Annual Student Conference on30-31 March in Edinburgh and are hoping that the Conference will kick-start the careers of many budding sport scientists. The Conference theme is 'Making a Career of Sport and Exercise Science', a topic that is probably uppermost in the thoughts of most sport and exercise science students. Through a normal conference format of keynote lectures, workshops, forums and plenty of time to chat and 'network' these two days will provide an opportunity to explore ideas, hear from, and question those actually working in sport and exercise science, and take advice from some of our top sport and exercise scientist in the UK. The conference also provides an invaluable opportunity for students to present their own work, to share ideas and thoughts with others, and find out what other sport and exercise science undergraduate and postgraduate students are up to.
