The team has a new Chair, Treasurer and a co-opted member…

Dr Richard Davison has taken over from Prof Craig Mahoney as Chair of the Association. He is joined by Ray White, who was elected as Honorary Treasurer of the Association. Ray is a Senior Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Biomechanics at the University of Sunderland. He is a long standing member of BASES and serves on the Accreditation Committee. His experience is in Orthopaedic Biomechanics and movement science. Prof Edward Winter remains as Honorary Treasurer and Dr Claire Hitchings (nee Palmer) is also on the Strategic Management Team in her role as Executive Officer.

Tracey Devonport from the University of Wolverhampton has been co-opted onto the Strategic Management Team. The Team was keen to have an additional member, especially in a year when there is no Chair Elect. Tracey was a popular choice as she is BASES Accredited in Psychology and is also involved in the British Psychological Society. As such she brings additional perspective to that already in the Team.
