Package Description: The Centre for Sports Studies is seeking to appoint an ambitious, experienced and highly motivated Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Sports Science. This position is a result of the continued expansion of the department due to the success of our undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes.
Salary From: £31,020
Salary To: £52,706
The Centre for Sports Studies is specifically looking for research-active academics that are able to contribute significantly to both the dynamic teaching and research culture within the department. The successful candidate will be required to contribute to the delivery and development of modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Applications are invited from lecturers in any of the sport and exercise disciplines (or multidisciplinary) and especially those with a strong interest in exercise, psychology and/or health. You will hold a PhD in Exercise and Health Science or a relevant subject and have relevant teaching experience in Higher Education. You will need to have published research papers in high quality peer-reviewed journals and have research management skills. An ability to supervise research activities of undergraduate and postgraduate students effectively is also a requirement of this position.
