We are seeking a highly motivated member of staff to take a leading role within the School of Sport and Education. The post is offered at Professorial or Reader level. Candidates will be expected to provide leadership in research and stimulate research in the area of Social Sciences of Sport, playing a significant role in the further development of The Centre for Youth Sport and Athlete Welfare (CYSAW), attract external funding and research students/assistants and contribute to teaching activities within the school. Candidates should have an acknowledged research profile in own research area and a demonstrated ability to access research grants and other funding sources; a significant research and publications record and coherent future plans for research, which are consistent with School objectives.
