We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology, to contribute to teaching and research quality and to an excellent working atmosphere in the Department of Sport Science. You will deliver undergraduate and postgraduate taught modules, supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects and contribute to the employability potential of our students. It would be an advantage to offer specific expertise in Exercise Psychology, but we would welcome strong applications in any area of Sport and Exercise Psychology.

You will make a significant contribution to the Department’s learning and teaching, research activity and academic enterprise in Sport and Exercise Psychology. You should be research active and have a PhD. We aspire to submit a high quality entry into the next national Research Excellence Framework assessment of research quality. You should be able to contribute to this entry with high quality academic papers, forth-coming papers and by research with societal, sport performance or economic impact. The post-holder will be joining sport and exercise scientists and social scientists in the Sport, Health and Performance Enhancement (SHAPE) research centre. High level mentoring is available for all staff. The start date is as soon as possible.
