TAKE A LEADING ROLE HEAD OF SCHOOL/PROFESSOR SCHOOL OF SPORT AND EXERCISE SCIENCE VICTORIA UNIVERSITY, AUSTRALIA Victoria University is seeking to appoint a highly qualified, experienced and effective leader for its School of Sport and Exercise Science. The University has identified sport and exercise as priority areas in its new strategic plan (2012-2016), setting as a bold target world-renown status in both its sport and exercise research and education programs.

The Head of School will oversee the management of financial, physical and human resources to achieve the strategic goals of the School, Faculty and University. The Head of School will also take a leading role to ensure that the School works collaboratively and strategically with internal research centres, such as the University’s Institute for Sport, Exercise and Active Living (ISEAL) and the Victoria Institute for Education, Diversity and Lifelong Learning, as well as with external industry and community partners and government agencies. This opportunity comes at a time when the University is investing substantially in infrastructure and staffing to support the growth of its sport and exercise science, exercise rehabilitation, physical education, and sport and recreation management programs.
