Supervised Experience registration opens 3 April

BASES Supervised Experience (SE) aims to provide sport and exercise scientists with the guidance, environment and opportunities that will facilitate the development of the competencies expected for BASES accreditation as a sport and exercise scientist. Supervised Experience is a key stepping stone to a career as a sport and exercise scientist.

For the successful completion of SE, and hence accreditation, the supervisee will be required to attain the required level of competency in the BASES standards of proficiency for sport and exercise scientists.

Individuals registered for SE shall be entitled to use the name ‘Probationary Sport and Exercise Scientist’ until accredited or for a maximum period of six years.

All documentation should be sent to education@bases.org.uk along with £200 application fee (which includes entry workshop).

Registration for Supervised Experience will open on 3 April and 28 September and will close for submissions at 1pm on 20 April and 19 October.

Please note: registration forms received after the 1pm deadline dates will not be accepted
