BBC Learning and Blue Peter are planning 9 big events this summer, to celebrate the 2012 Olympics and the Torch Relay. We want to harness the learning potential of the Olympics, and we’re trying to find partners to work with us on this. We want to have interactive exhibits and simulations to maximise the potential for learning about sport, and the science behind it during London 2012. This would include enabling young people to have a go at sports. Give youngsters a chance to interact with sports exhibits and experience simulations. Teach participants about the history of the torch relay, the ancient Olympics etc.
