Student Conference Abstracts - deadline 12 Feb 2010

2010 Bases Annual Student Conference – 31 March – 1 April 2010

Places are filling up fast for the 2010 BASES annual student conference

The BASES annual student conference is fast approaching and Aberystwyth is pleased to report there is a lot of interest from both students and staff. Aberystwyth is trying to be green with this year’s conference and one way delegates can help is by considering their carbon footprint with respect to travel arrangements. There are a number of websites that detail ways to reduce our carbon footprint, such as http://actonco2.direct.gov.uk/actonco2/home/. Aberystwyth will provide free transport from the train station to the university for people arriving by train.

We also encourage people to submit their abstract (the deadline is February 12) and register early because there is limited accommodation and places are filling up quickly. More detailed information can be obtained from the conference website (http://www.aber.ac.uk/en/sport-exercise/bases-conference/).

If you have any questions please contact Dr David Tod (dvt@aber.ac.uk). We hope to see you at the conference!
