Aim: The BASES Annual Conference awards seek to reward outstanding contributions to sport and exercise sciences by BASES members. Awards are presented for research (oral and poster) in student and non-student categories.
Student Awards
- One award of £100 Human Kinetics book vouchers for the best student oral presentation made by a BASES member as a free communication at the BASES Annual Conference.
- One award of £100 Human Kinetics book vouchers for the best poster presentation made by a BASES student member at the BASES Annual Conference.
Non-Student Awards
- A £500 cash prize for the best oral presentation on exercise science made by a BASES Professional Member at the BASES Annual Conference.
- A £500 cash prize for the best oral presentation on sport science made by an established researcher at the BASES Annual Conference.
- A prize of £500 (half cash/half book tokens) to the best oral presentation given by a recently qualified researcher at the BASES Annual Conference.
- One award of £200 for the best poster presentation made at the BASES Annual Conference.
